Capability

Cross-platform device management for every endpoint type.

FileWave gives IT one operational model for managing Apple, Microsoft, Google, Android, Linux, ChromeOS, tvOS, and visionOS environments without treating every platform as a separate island.

Mixed-fleet operations

Manage the work together without flattening platform differences.

FileWave brings enrollment, configuration, software delivery, patching, inventory, reporting, and support into one operating model. Apple MDM/DDM, Windows management, Android EMM, ChromeOS, Linux, and FileWave client workflows keep their platform-specific mechanics.

Configure

Enroll devices and apply settings, profiles, policies, and client behavior that fit each platform and ownership model.

Deploy

Deliver apps, scripts, documents, updates, and other payloads with Filesets, assignments, Kiosk, and deployment planning.

Measure

Use inventory, queries, reports, and license visibility to see what is installed, missing, stale, or at risk.

Support

Offer approved software through Self-Service Kiosk, launch remote support, and bring in services when work spans devices, users, and process.

Common questions

Common questions about device management.

Is FileWave only MDM?

No. FileWave covers MDM-style workflows, but it also supports client management, software distribution, patching, inventory, reporting, remote support, IT asset visibility, and services-backed operations.

How should I start a mixed-device evaluation?

Start with one approved test device and verify a result before expanding. For Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, or Android, deliver one platform-appropriate test item and check it on the device. For ChromeOS, match the Google and FileWave device records and review inventory. A device record alone does not prove that every management connection is ready.

How does device management fit into endpoint management?

Device management is often the starting point: enrollment, configuration, software delivery, inventory, patching, and support. FileWave brings those workflows together so teams can manage mixed fleets without splitting every task into a different tool.
